SHSC Training

At SHSC we always recognise any prior learning when any new employees join us. However, all certification we receive must be CPD accredited and in date (valid) to meet the requirements of the services you will be working within.

During your registration process for the services we will set up a training tracker this outlines training completed prior to registration, and any outstanding training you maybe working towards.

We provide all employees with accredited CPD training resources to ensure they are competent within their care role and confident carrying out any direct care and maintaining safe, high quality service standards within any of the service you may work within.

Training allocated at time of registration is based on valid certification provided and depending on which service you aim to work with; our Recruitment Agency service or with our Registered Domiciliary service. This includes mandatory training aligned with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, in line with care sector standards.

We understand access to training alone can be difficult and costly. Therefore, we are now set to also offer support with just your individual training needs. If you are new to the care sector and would like support stepping into the care field with your training requirements you can contact us for guidance and support. One of the team members will guide and talk you through the training requirements relevant to your role within care settings and look at what we can do for you to support you through your initial stages to step into the caring role as a support worker.

We can offer full Mandatory training or one off training courses to ensure you are compliant in the care sector. This includes core mandatory training required for care roles. Funding can be agreed at the time of contact.

Training provided is funded initially by SHSC with the accredited training provider we have in place at the time and also with internal training resources at our office. Training costs are bespoke to the individual and will be put in place when we set up your individual training tracker. This will clearly outline all required training relevant to your role and service placement.
